An accountant will tell you this about your business or a money focused greedy businessman will always have their focus. You might say these are harsh words but that is the harsh reality of a lot of businessmen today that their only focus and has defined their bottom line as "PROFIT".

That should not become the paramount in your business because once this starts become the gear that turns the wheel it will more than likely end up busted at the end and your desired bottom line will no longer be there. The reason for this is because the effect of such a mentality in a business will result to losing sincerity and commitment to your clients or customers and especially with your employees. When people start to see this from your business you will then see the start of shifting of customers to your competitor or you will find a lot of resignation letters from your employees on your table and attrition becomes your biggest concern instead of how to improve your business by improving processes that affects your customers and employees.

Customer Centric Focus

But if you set your focus in making a difference in the lives of those whom you serve as customers or clients and to the lives of your employees then you are shifting into a different gears wherein you will find a surge of loyal customers and employees. You will begin to see that your best sales people are your customers and they have become willing marketers of your business. You do not even need to pay them for it. The least you must do is thank them with a note or an email or you can take that extra mile and do it yourself. Imagine the look on the face of your customer when they see you walking on their pathway on the way to their door.

Human Capital Focus

And if we become a type of employer that we know the names and birthday of our employees including that of their family. Again let me take you into an imagination when you have in your hand a cake for your employees son or daughter - what a huge surprise would that be for them. Although you might think that this is corny but then again if you do this consistently to practically everybody within the organization and outside your organization including your suppliers you will end up with a business that will become a brand even for the next generation with profits breaking your own records if not numbers in the industry.

Make the welfare of your clients or customers and your employees your bottom line them you will surely take in more profit than what you expected.

Reaching your sales targets is a very rewarding accomplishment.

Education and appreciation of the employee in the work place can be as simple as providing good positive feedback, and strong and direct communication. Keep in mind the position of your employee, and the goals you have in mind for their personal growth within the company and you'll go far. Moral will grow, and producitivity will increase. Your employees (and yourself) will enjoy working together and you'll find the days go past with almost no effort.

Enjoy your new working lifestyle as you grow your relationships, and improve the working environment.
